Author Guide
The journal invites submissions from scholars worldwide. Experts and researchers in sociology and related social science disciplines are cordially welcome to contribute. The journal adheres to academic principles and upholds fairness, professionalism, standardization, and a commitment to excellence as its editorial guiding principles. Manuscripts are evaluated strictly according to academic standards. The journal employs a three-review system and a double-blind peer review process.
Please note that submitted manuscripts must meet the following requirements:
Submissions must be written in Chinese.
Please include on the first page of the manuscript: the article title, and author biography (including name, full affiliation, academic title, research field, contact phone number, detailed mailing address, email address, etc.).
Manuscripts must be complete, including the title, author name(s), author affiliation(s), abstract (approx. 300 words), 3–5 keywords, main text, and references.
Please provide an English translation of the title, author name(s), affiliation(s), abstract, and keywords alongside the Chinese version.
When citing the work of others, a parenthetical citation must be provided in the text. The author's own notes should be formatted as footnotes on the corresponding page.
All cited works must be listed in the references at the end of the manuscript. Chinese and non-Chinese references should be listed separately, with Chinese references first, followed by non-Chinese references. Both lists should be arranged alphabetically by author's last name. Chinese references should follow the format of Sociological Studies (Shehuixue Yanjiu), and non-Chinese references should follow APA style.
The main text should use at most four levels of headings. The heading sequence should be: I. (or 一、), (A) (or (一)), 1., (a) (or (1)). First-level headings should be centered, second-level headings left-aligned, and third- and fourth-level headings indented by two spaces from the left margin.
Figures and tables in the manuscript must be clear and meet publication quality standards.
If the submitted work is supported by a grant or fund, please indicate this in a footnote on the title page, including the funding project name and grant number.
For specific formatting guidelines, please refer to the journal’s paper template.
